We, Faravaz and LIN, two artists from Berlin, have written a solidarity song together entitled “Jin Jian Azadi” and invite you to an evening on the subject of the feminist revolution in Iran and Afghanistan as part of the release of our song. A documentary film about the escape of the Iranian singer Faravaz from Iran and her life in exile in Berlin will be shown, followed by a panel discussion about the situation of artists in the field of tension between art and activism, before the joint song and other songs by the artists are performed live.
Admission on a donation basis. After deduction of the room costs, the proceeds will go to the organization “The right to sing”, which supports Iranian female musicians.
