Biography
After a long and indulgent journey through the residences of France’s most refined ladies, Y. – life artist and resident dreamer – recently moved into the loft above the hyperspace.
Y.’s studies in the art of savoir-vivre came to an abrupt end when Madame Klein, the last of Y.’s patrons, having sacrificed both her wealth and her best years, threw Y. – along with easel and beret – out onto the streets of Marseille.
Shaken but not stirred, Y. decided it was time to take a break from wine, waves, and watercolor, and retreated to the rooftops of Cologne for some well-earned peace.
But true to their artistic nature, Y. couldn’t resist celebrating the new chapter in style. Jette and Janna from the neighboring “Pattern Beuys” studio joined for the housewarming party. Four glasses of absinthe in, the three were deep into color theory—and soon putting it into action, on the walls of the loft’s kitchen.
That night, inspired by the creative chaos, the view, and the absinthe, Y. had a vision. In a swirl of color, one shade rose above all others: a rich, glowing ultramarine. According to color theory, it represents composure, clarity, and objectivity.
What started as a break turned into a breakthrough.
The pause became a blueprint.
And the loft became the Ultra Loft – a place of urban clarity and inspired perspective.
At least… until Y. dreams up a new muse.
